Symptoms
The DataNOW client installation fails after launching the DataNOW Update program to finish downloading/installing files from the DataNOW share. One of the following errors may be displayed:
The installation source folder <path> could not be found.
Access denied.
Cause
The exact cause of this error is currently unknown. For some reason, the local system account is not impersonating the interactive user as expected when it attempts to access the network resource.
Workaround
Grant the terminal server's computer account read access to the DataNOW share, and the underlying folder. After the installation finishes, you can remove the computer account from the share and folder. It will not be needed for subsequent updates.
