Symptoms:
I have encountered a weird scenario; eFormz was configured correctly and would print fine from the print monitor, but not from the installed service. (To see how to set up a service, look at the article I posted previously). It wouldn’t even consume the data file, however everything worked fine from the manual print monitor in the toolkit.

Possible Cause:
The permissions are not set up correctly on the folder that contained the project.
The permissions are incorrect on the folder that received the prn file.

Solution:
Make sure that the service is running under an account that has permission to read from the project’s folder.
Make sure the service is running under and account with permission to write and change files in the prn’s folder.
Note: Most of the time the service is run under the “Local System” account. This is fine and usually will not cause problems. Just ensure that you do not remove the permissions for ‘Local System’ account when setting up the DataNOW folder (or the folders were the project and prn files live). If you must remove the permissions for Local System, you must set up the service to run under a different account that DOES have the proper permissions. Do this through the services snap-in in Administrative Tools.
